Jeremy Michael Wins 1st place in SKILLS USA District Competition
Jeremy Michael, son of Wendy Witt, recently competed at Franklin County CTC on February 16, 2009 for Masonry where he placed First.
His dedication and performance to his field of Masonry is reflected in this achievement. He is considered an admirable example to his peers and a great representative of the Engineering/Construction Academy and York County School of Technology.

As a senior student, he will be awarded an honors cord for his First Place achievement that he will proudly wear for his graduation.

Because of this great accomplishment, he will now go on to compete in a State competition in Hershey, PA from Wednesday, April 1, 2009 – Friday, April, 3, 2009. If he wins this competition, it is understood that he will continue to the National competition in Kansas City.

Jeremy has been working for Caretti, Inc., Camp Hill, PA since the end of July 2008 as a mason. He is a member of BAC Local 05PA Union. Jeremy has been working on the job site of Red Lion's new elementary school project located on Windsor Road since he began work in July 2008.

During his senior year of high school, he works one week and attends York County School of Technology the next. He expects to attend IMI (International Masonry Institute) in Annapolis, MD this summer to build on his apprenticeship.
