Projeto Lar Feliz

Project Lar Feliz

"Happy Home"
A bruised reed He will not break, and
a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.

Isaiah 42:3

The van Opstal's ministry offers restored physical, spiritual, and mental well-being to the abused, abandoned, rebellious, homeless, or orphaned children of Brazil; introducing them to a new life in Jesus Christ.

PLEASE PRAY . . .

that God will continue to bless both the Boys' and the Girls' homes. Also, for us and our staff as we strive to provide shelter, love, and teaching in all aspects of life; in a nurturing family atmosphere.

If you would like to find out more about the van Opstals and
what their prayer needs are, you can visit them at http://vanopstals.servesaints.com/.

Paul and Jill van Opstal are one of the missionaries that Mt. Olivet UM Church supports. Paul and Jill van Opstal moved to Brazil after working as missionaries
in Amsterdam for almost 9 years. God called them to Brazil to work with children. They went to Brazil on November 13th, 1998. On July 6th, 2000 they opened a boy's home called "Happy Home." The vision of this project is to house children who are in problem situations which could include things such as abuse, abandonment, homelessness, authority problems, rebellion and such. One of their goals is to teach these children that they are wanted and that God does have a plan for their lives. This is a Christian project with it's entire vision based solely on the Word of God.
